FOOM Poster by Jim Steranko!

Cover of the Day: Godzilla 20!

Yeah, Godzilla was going through some size issues at this point in his comic, which only had another four issues to go after this!

Watcher Slurpee Cup from 1974!

Have I posted this before? Surely not both sides of the cup!

Cover of the Day: Fantastic Four 210!

Why were the FF searching for Galactus? Because he was their only hope of stopping the ultra-powerful Sphinx, as Marv Wolfman continues the plot begun in the then-cancelled Nova comic!

Incredible Hulk and Fantastic Four Board Game!

Not quite sure what was up with this game... was it designed originally as an FF game with one of their villains on the rampage, or as a Hulk game with the FF thrown in there, or was this what was intended in the first place?

1980 Thing Iron-On Patch!

I'm not sure if this was the same patch that was advertised in the comics or not!

Slurpee Cups!

OK, so the Black Panther cup is the only one here with a direct tie to the FF...

Invisible Girl Postcard by John Byrne!

Cover of the Day: Fantastic Four 29!

Truly one of the most bizarre beginnings of any FF story, as they show up on Yancy Street to face a challenge from the Yancy Street Gang!

Superheroes Cookbook!

I guess Sue had to get some cover space for this one... are those supposed to be cookies on that tray?

Cover of the Day: Fantastic Four 42!

I've never understood why Jack decided to have Reed's arms and legs bend at the standard joints on this cover... maybe it was an experiment of some kind, and it just looked too weird?

Secret Wars Doom Chopper!

Yeah, if you've been following the Secret Wars Mattel posts, you've come to the conclusion that all the villain vehicles are "Doom" this and that...

Marvel Super-Heroes Strategy Game!

Anyone out there have this game? Every time I bid on it, I'm outbid way beyond my budget...

Fantastic Four #55, Page 11, by Jack Kirby!

Cover of the Day: Fantastic Four 57!

I have a t-shirt with this cover on it! I bought it at a store that's no longer in business around here, and I forget the name of it now...

Castle of Frankenstein #12, Page 6!

Here's the first page of an interview with Stan Lee from Castle of Frankenstein #12. This was a great magazine that covered monsters, sci-fi, tv, and comics back in the day! I've got the entire issue scanned, so if you click on the page, you should be able to figure out how to navigate to the rest of the interview.

Of course, the page is here because of the Kirby-drawn FF picture!

Cover of the Day: Giant-Size Fantastic Four 5!

Yep, at this point, the Giant-Size FF became a reprint title... not that there's anything wrong with reprint titles per se...

Hulk and Thing Hot Wheels Two-Pack!

I'm not usually a fan of cars based on superheroes... at least, those where the cars are apparently supposed to be driven by the heroes (unless it makes sense, like the Batmobile, for example)... but these two? I can totally see a comics fan with the money to spend customizing their vehicle to look like this!

Secret Wars Sparkle Gun!

Yes, the Secret Wars stuff appears only because of Dr. Doom!

Cover of the Day!

Been a while since I posted any foreign FF covers, hasn't it?
