Cover of the Day: Marvel's Greatest Comics 25!

The FF story in this issue has been adapted into cartoon form at least twice... in the 1960s FF cartoon (where Namor was replaced with a new character) and in the 1960s Marvel Super-Heroes Cartoon series, where Namor was teamed with the X-Men instead of the FF! I've never seen that cartoon, so I can't say much about how that worked out!

Actually, the Marvel Super-Heroes Sub-Mariner episode was a mixture adaptation of FF # 6, with elements taken from FF Annual # 3 as well. No FF appearence in the Subby cartoon, since they were liscensed to Hanna-Barbera. The Subbie cartoon used Dr. Doom and many other characters from the wedding issue of FF (Avengers, X-Men, Daredevil (I think) and other villains.

In the 60's Hanna-Barbera version, Subby was replaced by Prince Triton of Pacifica.
